Array Technologies Opens New $50 Million Manufacturing Plant in Albuquerque

Array Technologies has opened a new 216,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The $50 million investment will support around 300 jobs and expand the companys production of solar tracking systems, advancing U.S. clean energy manufacturing capabilities.

Array Technologies, a leading U.S. solar tracker manufacturer, has officially opened a new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant on the west side of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The 216,000-square-foot facility, representing an investment of over $50 million, significantly expands the company’s footprint in the city, tripling the size of its previous site.

Located at 701 Atrisco Vista Boulevard NW, the new manufacturing campus began initial manufacturing and shipping activities in the first quarter of 2026. The grand opening ceremony was held on September 9, 2026, attended by company officials, local dignitaries, and elected leaders, highlighting the plant’s importance to the regional economy and the renewable energy sector.

The facility will support around 300 jobs spanning manufacturing, engineering, design, customer service, and related functions, a substantial increase in Array’s local workforce. Public funding support for the project came from New Mexico’s Local Economic Development Act (LEDA) fund, with $2.5 million committed, alongside contributions of $250,000 each from the City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County and additional property tax abatements.

This expansion is a strategic move by Array Technologies to strengthen American manufacturing capacity in solar technology, particularly in the production of solar tracking systems that optimize the efficiency of utility-scale solar installations. The company’s investment aligns with ongoing national priorities around domestic renewable energy manufacturing and energy security.

The Albuquerque facility is expected to play a key role in scaling clean energy infrastructure while providing substantial economic benefits to the local community through job creation and industrial growth. Array Technologies’s decision to triple its manufacturing space in Albuquerque reflects confidence in the region’s workforce and the supportive business environment.

As the solar industry continues to grow, Array’s expanded production capabilities underscore the increasing role of U.S.-based manufacturing in supplying advanced clean energy technologies at scale.
