DeltaX, a global leader in advanced battery energy storage solutions, has announced plans to invest $141 million to build its North American manufacturing headquarters in Monroe, Georgia. The new facility will be located at the Piedmont Regional Industrial Park on a 25-acre campus in Walton County.
The project will start with a 100,000-square-foot assembly plant dedicated to battery energy storage systems (BESS), with plans to add additional manufacturing buildings and the company’s North American corporate offices in the future. This expansion supports the growing demand for domestic battery storage solutions to serve utility, commercial, industrial, and technology sectors.
The investment is expected to create approximately 250 new manufacturing jobs and an additional 200 construction jobs during the building phase. The facility will provide a critical domestic production base for battery energy storage systems, aligning with broader U.S. efforts to strengthen supply chains and infrastructure for energy storage and grid resilience.
DeltaX, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, is expanding its footprint in the United States through this significant manufacturing investment. The Monroe project underscores the company’s commitment to growing American industrial capacity in advanced energy storage technologies, a key component in the transition to cleaner and more reliable energy systems.
